WE'RE OUR OWN TOUGHEST CRITICS
Nissan wants to ensure that Nissan vehicles are safe for our customers. When a safety defect is determined, Nissan will launch a Recall Campaign by sending vehicle owners a notification letter containing detailed instructions on how to have the matter remedied.

If you have misplaced a notification letter or want to be sure your vehicle isn't involved in a recall campaign, choose your vehicle and enter a year in the form to the left to see a complete index of recall campaigns for that model year issued since January 1, 1998. Please note that vehicles not currently in production will only appear if they have been subject to a recall since January 1, 1998.

Recall campaigns affect specific model years, geographic regions, and vehicles (based on vehicle identification number or VIN). In order to confirm that your vehicle is actually involved in a campaign, or has not been previously repaired, Nissan recommends contacting your Nissan dealer before bringing a vehicle in for service.

For other recall campaigns, including non-Nissan vehicles, we suggest that you visit http://www.nhtsa.dot.gov/cars/problems/recalls/Index.cfm. You will need to know your vehicle's make, model, year and vehicle identification number (VIN).

Nissan recalls may apply to specific VIN ranges, and due to equipment variation, options, prior repairs, etc., your vehicle may or may not be involved in a recall. To determine if your specific vehicle is affected by any recall, please contact your local Nissan dealer. It will be necessary to supply the vehicle make, model and identification number (VIN) to the dealer.
